About this game

Travel back to olden times and become Director of your own city!

Attract new residents and try to become the greatest city in the land! Add buildings like restaurants and teahouses to make your town a place where samurai and commoners alike will want to live.

This is the past, so don't forget to add some touches of traditional culture! Features like temples and gaming halls can give your city a lot of personality, especially when arranged in harmony with the surrounding environment. You might end up attracting tourists to the town, who will move in if they like it enough.

It's not all fun and games in the mists of history. Sometimes ghost, demons, and other baddies will come to attack your city. You'll have to summon your own Guardian Spirits to banish the evil ones and keep your townsfolk safe. Consider your spirits' abilities and placement for the best effects - strategy is the key word!

With a whole host of land expansion options, facilities, and residents to collect and customize, it's never been easier to create a city that will go down in history.
Start building your ancient city today!

I am a Kairosoft addict and I was waiting for an OH! Edo Towns sequel for so long. This met all my expectations and far exceeded them. A fantastic game if you love the map-building titles from this company. Newbies be warned it is a LOT of strategy- a ton of micro management on top of mini games, resource allocation, etc. May be overwhelming if it's the first Kairosoft of this genre but still fun. If you feel it's too much, grab venture towns or Oh Edo! Town but COME BACK, this is fantastic :)

A well planned city gets rewarded and can grow. Development leads to more opportunities. I wish I had downloaded this Kairosoft game sooner! Finally more of a simulation and less of having to place buildings perfectly just to profit for any hope of expansion. The mini games are worth the time to figure out how to win to get bonus prizes. I'm trying to decide how to layout my next city to boost leisure.

Pros: -The colour palette is really pretty, I think this is my favourite Kairosoft game aesthetic-wise -The combos are fun to find and strategically place -It feels like you're always unlocking something. Well paced. Cons: -The minigames are hit-and-miss. I like horse racing but the other three sports are kind of confusing -The tower defence is kinda fun, but sometimes the enemies and units don't act like I expect, causing a frustrating defeat -Not my fave NG+ system
