I've used aldiko since 2013, but suddenly the app updated without my permission and now it's awful. There's no longer a good way to navigate through pages. Why remove this?? I had to add my books again after the update, and completely lost my spot in my books. If you try searching by words, instead of taking you to page a word is on, it just takes you to the start of the book. If you wanted to innovate, you should have made sure basic functions actually worked before update. Thanks for nothing.

I like the page numbering algorithm, independent of font type and size! The page number will be the same across different devices regardless of screen size, font size, font types. It would be perfect if the pop up menu is customizable. I would like the Share option appear in the pop up without clicking ... and it should be allowed to share with Google Maps or Chrome as often during reading I like to research some item further.

I've been using this app for 6 years & love using it for my ebook library. It's easy to use. The devs keep it updated & it runs very smoothly, quickly loading my books. The file sizes are small, which is very useful for me, & that way I can have more books! The navigation is straight forward, & the settings choices (bookmark, brightness, orientation, etc.) are handy. Great app to have for my ebooks. Updated to say while there are ads, they are rare, for me.
