About this game

You find yourself in rustic, pre-modern Tuscany, where you’ve inherited a meager vineyard. You own a few plots of land, an old crush pad, a tiny cellar, 3 workers…and the dream of owning the best winery in Italy.

Your job is to allocate your workers and helpful visitors to complete various tasks throughout the year. Each season is different on a vineyard, so the workers have different tasks they can take care of in the summer and winter. There’s competition over those tasks, and often the first worker to arrive at each one has an advantage over the rest.

Using those workers and visitors, you can expand your vineyard by building structures, planting vines, and filling wine orders as you work towards the goal of owning the most successful winery in Tuscany.

DIGIDICED is my favourite board game adapter, and this is a port that I literally asked them and Stonemaier to make happen (I'm sure that had no bearing on the reality of it actually happening, but I'm glad it happened just the same). However, I should have listened to the other reviews. The AI is EXTREMELY slow. I mean. Really. It's brutal. I hope they fix this, since I can't get a refund now. I think it'd be faster for me to set up the physical game and play against the Automa than it is to play on the app, and that's just frustrating. Some niceties I'd request for future updates would be: the full Tuscany board, the option to see coloured meeples instead of realistic-ish people holding coloured baskets, and just overall speed increases everywhere. I haven't explored the full app yet, so I'm not sure if the Automa is implemented or not, but I suspect that would be one way to speed up the AI opponent, since there'd be virtually no calculations to do. If it's not in there, it'd be nice to have as an option. Anyhow, overall, this is a great game, and this adaptation has promise. It just needs a bit more polish, which I really, really hope DIGIDICED gives it. It deserves it.

hello there, we are happy to inform you that we enhanced the AI computing time for weaker mobile devices. Please try it out in Build Version 4 of the game. Also please have a look on our options. You can enable the advanced player option which speeds up the game and the game speed can be set on fast as well. Automa is not implemented, though.

The game shows it's age by having a poor tutorial and not as much feedback in the game as you play as newer games have, but I've played solo and online with friends with zero issues. It's just fun to play when you fit always have time to do it in person. it's not easy to pick up for those who haven't played already, so I suggest new players seek tutorial videos online and then enjoy.

This game is fun but they need to fix the app. It freezes after an hour or so. I'll get notified that's it's my turn but will have to force close the app and restart to be able to take my turn. (edit 2 years later) this game is still good and I appreciate the dev team working on this issue a bit. still get lost login and frozen app that needs to be force closed. this happens less often but enough to be frustrating.
