It crashes too much and glitches out at random times as well as freezes and then completely shuts down whenever it wants. Edit: When I use the subtitles on music videos or 1 hour and longer type videos it crashes the application. I also wished that they added a search filter because I realized that if a video has been posted on the same day that you're looking for it, you'll only find it a day or two later.

Most recent update has broken watch later playlist video queue when choosing watch later from the top of the "Library" screen on the Shield TV version of the app. Choosing watch later from the playlist section doesn't have this issue. Also why did you change the default selection when pressing up arrow on remote while watching a video? It used to be two up clicks to get to video description. Now two up clicks highlights the channel name and a left click from there will highlight the video description. Years of muscle memory makes it so annoying. What a pointless change, it's like some new guy got hired and said "why is it like this" and changed stuff for no reason.

Sometimes, when I open the app and play a video, the sound doesn't play. This then persists for any video I play in the app. The only way to fix it is to go into the Chromecast's settings, force close YouTube, and open it again. It's ridiculous that after this many years you still haven't figured out something as simple as making sure the audio plays when you play a video!
