Enjoyable character and strategy planning and creation, from a set of alluring and mysterious abilities and traits. Contains an interesting story with moral lessons. Player is able to think, plan, read, and play at own pace while listening to beautiful, event appropriate music. Music exposed to is often melancholy and progression becomes a bit too repetitive and long.

Very simple dungeon delve RPG that delivers on what you would expect. The backgrounds, spells, and skills are pretty robust and impactful to obtain which feels good. The mechanics are pretty cut and dry but that doesnt mean boring, it lets you focus more on playing strategy when needed. Also, big bonus for any game, you can minimize this overnight and go back to it the next day without restarting everything. Thanks devs :D.

If you like old style RPGs you should try this one out! Ive been having a great time playing Grim Quest! The only 2 things that bugs me. In the dice game I was able to choose 7, there's only 6 sides to a die lmao and whenever I try to do a bounty I never seem to find the monsters that I need to fight, it would be cool if you could choose how far you start inside a dungeon on the world map. Other than that I've been having a fun time playing and I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

What’s new

- added dungeon walls and means to remove them
- reworked ambush to trigger only once per tile and only on previously unoccupied tiles
- tweaked enemy and event spawning chance for less cluttered late game and a bit more even distribution in early game
