I played through the entire adventure track, but I'm also enjoying the farming track as well. It's engaging enough that it makes me want to come back to it every day, and I'm learning a good amount of vocabulary. I'm glad the devs fixed the energy requirements for battles instead of ending up with 2 energy left. Other suggestions would be separate rankings for premium users since it's impossible to compete otherwise. Also still getting the no sound glitch as others mentioned.

Pronunciation button doesn't work. Once you hear it the first time, when looking at what you've learned it when being tested, taking the speaker button doesn't repeat the pronunciation as expected. The game so far is great, but the point is to learn the language, verbally and knowledge, so this is a huge drawback right now

Sorry about that, yeah that shouldn't be happening. We're going to look into this and see what's going on. It seems to be reliably working on the most recent version of the app that'll be going out soon. Hopefully that does the trick. I don't know if I would be progressing much on the free version (you run out of energy so fast & there are limited ads per day to gain more energy) & some stuff is annoyingly hard (I'm addicted to building the farm but leveling up is SO much slower on the farm then the battling & so I feel like learning the language is in my way, lol! Because of the time it takes so I can get milk so I can get ingredients.) But the chara development is really good, the dialogue is awesome, and I'm learning!
What’s new
Greetings legends! This update adds upcoming seasonal content and the following changes:
- You can now sort naala in storage by hatching order
- You can now tap on a naala's head icon in the UI to see its properties
- Officially adds a "gifted" label when you use a stat gem on your naala
- Using a phoenix bonbon now grants the "gifted" status with bonus stats
- Saved naala stat points now bring up the level up screen to be allocated
