Useful sometimes, but you now need to upgrade to "pro plus" an even higher priced subscription to unlock features like adding multiple accounts to each service. This prevents anyone else in your home from being able to use anything you create with their voices and Google Home. Pricing tiers feel wrong. If they made it cheaper, they could dominate the market, but with this model, they'll always be subpar as they price out most users. I can only make 20 applets even though I pay them. Ridiculous.

I've used this app for a few years now and found it very useful, but all of that has been for naught as they go to a subscription model. I'm not a power user, but I have far more than 3 rules, but I'm about to loose them if I don't cough up $2 (US, no less) a month. A one time charge I might consider, if it was reasonable, but not a subscription. I'll miss the ease of use of IFTTT, but I can do what I need for free through the individual apps.

We're sorry to see you go. We hope you'll consider remaining on our free forever plan, which allows you to use as many discoverable Applets as you like. There are thousands and thousands to choose from — check out ifttt.com/explore to learn more.

After almost a decade of automation through IFTTT with dozens of applets, I got an email yesterday telling me to pick my 3 favourites, because the rest are being 'archived' behind a subscription paywall. I've read about the set your own price, but it fails to address the fact that applets I published by myself, for myself, for ease of access and use in my own home will now cost me money to get back. I would gladly pay $25 once for this app, but not every year for eternity. Sad to see.

Appreciate the feedback. If Pro isn't for you, then those Applets you created that are outside the 3 Applet limit can be replaced with free Applets from ifttt.com/explore.
