Door Kickers: Action Squad is a crazy old school side scroller action game that puts you in the role of a SWAT trooper and sends you to deal with the bad guys in Nowhere City USA.
Choose your gear, then kick the doors down and face the action. Adapt and react by the seat of your pants, and if needed – restart without a care and rethink. Master weapons recoil and time your reloads, use distance and cover to your advantage and use the in-game Strategic Abilities to decide for yourself when healthpacks or gear refills are needed. Or just save up the Points earned and unleash your Ultimate to waltz through that tricky final room.

this game is really fun but has a lot of issues that need to be fixed... and it all comes down to controls... the on-screen touch controls are wonky. there has been many many times where I have tried to jump and my character shoots, I tried to interact with something and my character jumps, I've tried interact with something and I kick.... and kill a hostage. you know it'd be really nice? controller support. I would have refunded this if I paid.

Love the pixel art and gameplay! So much variety in how you can play the game, from many different characters you can play and their different equipments to use. The music sounds fun and the UI looks great. Love that it's an offline game! I've only played the first level with the Shield Character. The Zombie Mode sounds so cool and I'm glad I came across this game. (My review might change in the future when I've experienced much more of the game)

Simply amazing!!! Love this game, it's a side view platform action game with all the right elements. Rescue hostages, kill bad guys, upgrade characters, weapons and skills. Decently challenging and lots of replay value as well and loads of levels to keep you busy for hours! Only suggestion I have for devs is to start the game off with a tutorial level to explain movement, leveling up, weapons switch etc etc. Well deserving five stars and hope to see more games like this in the future!
