• Google Fit needs to be installed and permissions enabled in order for Ingress to accurately track your steps.
• Fitness information is critical to app functionality, fraud and abuse prevention, app security, and compliance. Steps and Distance permissions are needed for Kinetic Capsule and Bounty progression. Calories Burned permission is needed for the Weekly Fitness Report (FITREP) summary.
• It is recommended to play Ingress while connected to a network in order to obtain accurate location information. Agents walk, pedal, and roll to move.

Love this game. Hope it never shuts down ♡ Edit: For the bounty system, the Glyph daily challenge doesn't seem to wanna track properly or at all. Oct 3rd, 2025 edit: Great work guys. Wish levelling up was more helpful when you reach 8. like a menu popping up saying exactly what you need to do and the requirements. Also maybe if the campaigns were level-based and not time-based. (sometimes I don't have the time to go out and do what it's asking for)

The game gets stuck. I am unable to hack either on wifi or cellular data much of the time. I make a point of attempting to hack a minimum of 3 times a day (an effort to gain the Sojourner badge) and I can't seem to get it to count past 14 days. So even though I'm hacking, and items look they're adding to my inventory, it's not counting the hack. I've kept my inventory level around the 1975 mark so there is plenty of space. The game is just buggy and extremely slow. I miss the old scanner.

Would be 5*, but having trouble getting used to the new interface. It's too hard to tell what items are, the writing is too small and dark, and the pictures of items aren't different enough for me to know what's selected. I guess if I started playing more it would help, but it's too frustrating when I can't see things as eaaily as I used to. It *is* much more visually pleasing when you send and recieve links... Especially when you're standing on the receiving end.

• Agents who buy the Codename Token can choose their current codename, like “devra” to “Devra” or “HunkJohnson” changed their mind and will keep “HunkJohnson.”
• Uploading 13 Portal Scans of the same Portal within a Septicycle immediately deploys a Fracker.
• We updated Intel Map to use API keys instead of Google Maps Platform client IDs.
