My love affair with Libby is over unless you're able to fix it. Since the last update, it asked me to verify my library card and, when I tried to do so, the app wouldn't allow it which means I can no longer borrow books. I've tried everything: uninstall/reinstall several times, remove my card and log out, all to no avail. Now I can't even log in at all. Why do developers insist on "fixing" things that aren't broken? "Improvements" nearly always mess things up.

Libby is responsible for bringing back my love of reading. I downloaded the app at a friend's suggestion many years ago and I'm so glad. I can read in waiting rooms, line-ups, traveling, during lunch, in the bath; anywhere I am, my book is there, too. My favourite part might be the ability to tap an unfamiliar word and instantly learn the meaning. And the selection from my city's library gives access to thousands of titles in any genre. Libby makes it simple and convenient 💜

Very glitchy during use. Often will not play a downloaded audiobook if service is not good enough. Requiring you to instead go into airplane mode, start playing the book and then come out of airplane mode. Sometimes gets caught like a scratched record and will repeat the same section of audiobook over again. Unlike other platforms, requires the whole book to be downloaded to start listening to it. If not for it being used by my library, I would not recommend.
