I havr been using the free version for a while now and i am it sucks a lot. We are litterally listening to more adds than we are listening to music. I always get interupted with adds every 1 song i listen too! Also, the songs in my playlist don't play from bottom to top. Instead it just plays in a random order. You guys couldn't get any more greedy. At this point, I feel like switching to Youtube is better because you can actyally skip adds.

Hi. Thanks for letting us know what you think. On free, you can only play music on Smart Shuffle as it's the default play mode. For frequent ads, a clean reinstall might help fix the issue. If that doesn't resolve it, reach out to our Customer Service at support.spotify.com; just search "Contact Us".

Wish I could rate it lower. I've been using the free version for a while, seeing if it got better and worth the paid version. Nope. Now it plays podcasts in the WRONG order, from newest to oldest instead of oldest to newest which would skip to the next podcast. Now it will stay on the same and replay episodes even if they are marked as played. Uninstall and refresh, clear cache etc does nothing. Time to find another app.

This isn't a critique of the content. The app and company are dissapointing to me. I've paid for an add free experience but for some reason they think it's okay to pepper podcasts with adds. It makes me feel betrayed. I'll be jumping ship the moment I find a better option. Re: the reply I just got... I'm not sure what you misunderstood about my post. I paid for an add free experience. You've included adds in some of your content. I'll be shopping for a truely add free experience.

Hi! Podcasts usually include some advertising. This has been the case since the early days of podcasts, and continues to be true today, including on Spotify. Therefore, even as a Premium user, you may receive advertising or sponsored messages when playing a podcast. Note that as a Premium user, you still enjoy an ad-free music listening experience.
