Generally play on iPad; dont have to trace hold notes nor do you have to time their release. Getting perfect hits is way too easy. There is no Master difficulty equivalent (as of yet). A lot of bloat, and generally poor writing in the stories. Ties vital progression materials behind playing the god-awful minigames. It is also super stingy with the gacha currency. Passable game as a fan of hololive but a step down from its competitors as a rhythm game.

Gameplay is pretty forgiving, swipe notes count any direction and don't require lifting your finger. You can create and share your own charts! The game has been adding new songs at a fast pace since release. Hololive has a LOT of covers (mostly vocaloid or jpop) and original music. I'm not a fan of gacha mechanics, and have ignored the story, but as a rhythm game it's quite solid.

So far so good. Probably Hololive's best video game yet. Fun even for a free-to-play-so-I-will-play-for-free chud like myself, has a lot of content and is a joy to play. One complaint I do have in these early days is that the overworld gameplay (where you can move around) is quite demanding even on flagship phones, and runs quite hot. The rhythm gameplay is perfectly smooth though.
